Whenever I sell items on eBay I always tape Polaroids onto the package.
My favorite role by Robin Williams was when he played Sy Parrish in 1hour photo. This line he said always gets to me.
"I’m not your girl."polaroid sx70 // sx70 film. This was taken in April 2012 - Yesterday I had the pleasure of finally meeting Sophie. We’ve been talking bjork and polaroids since 2008! It was a strange encounter. Upon seeing each other, we embraced with hugs and touching. "You’re real!" kept coming out of her mouth. Along with, "You’re weird too" (Which I take as a compliment) Unfortunately, we only had about an hour to talk. She came to Pomona for two reasons. To meet me and to see Pulp at the fox theater. Luckily, before the sun died I managed to get this one shot. I already miss her and hope she returns to California soon.
Polaroid 320 - ID-uv
Polaroid sx70 - sx70 black frame. This was taken in 2011 at my hotel room in vegas. Here’s some words to accompany the polaroid.
"We decided we needed a mini-vacation. Well, if anyone knows anything about Las Vegas you know this… the heat is unbearable. I decided to stay in while everyone else left. (Fools!) Anyway, out of my boredom stemmed this polaroid. For some weird reason, I convinced myself I needed to bring along an eye patch and so I did. I took a few polaroids and hid some in room 1514 at the california casino hotel."
Polaroid sx70 - artistic time zero film.
Alluring lights - polaroid sx70 - time zero (long exposure)
"23" polaroid 180 - Id uv film. I took this self portrait on my 23rd birthday. At the time we were still living in the city of El Monte. It wasn’t the nicest city but it was home. 7 months later we had to sell my childhood home and move to Pomona. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Thinking about it now though I realize I’ve grown from it. If we had to move again it wouldn’t bother me, Once you experience the loss of your childhood home or any home for that matter you realize it doesn’t matter where you end up just as long as you’re with family as corny as that sounds.
Melancholy sky - polaroid 180 - type 689
